“Great outlet shopping”
Reviewed December 19, 2013

There are quite a numbers of outlet stores here: Molten Brown, Adidas, Nike, Marks&Spencer, Boots, L'occitane, Crabtree&Evelyn etc... It is not an outlet mall with those super branded goods, but at least this is more affordable. During some off-season periods, you can actually grab some good deals you can't find elsewhere! There are also quite a number of restaurants and cafes to feed and drink.

You can get to here on rail (Portsmouth Harbour station) or coaches/bus (The Hard Bus Intercahnge) etc. I selected my timings and bought a return trip ticket on National Express coach (single trip ticket will cost slightly more). As I have been here several times, so I roughly can gauge how long to spend there so i can get the best return timing.

“Amazing”
Reviewed December 14, 2013

There were a huge variety of shops, mainly designer stores. But, there were some high street stores such as Adidas and HMV. There was a lot to offer here, including several cafe type shops and plenty of restaurants to choose from. You could and should defiantly prepare a day trip for this shopping trip. The only negative about this trip would have to be the paid parking. But overall, a fantastic shopping experience.

“Good range of outlet shops, but nightmare to get to”
Reviewed December 14, 2013 via mobile

If you go here, go early. We got to the junction on the m27 nearest the Quays at about 10.30am and it took us a staggering 75 minutes to get into the car park! In late November the place was heaving and some popular shops had their own queues. The whole place is beautifully laid out and there is a good range of catering. There is a rail station very close, next time time I'd definitely give serious consideration to the train. If you need to escape from the heaving masses, try a coffee or snack at the Aspex Gallery cafe, it's a calming oasis of tranquility.

“Very Nice Shopping Center!!!!”
Reviewed December 9, 2013

After spending the day at the Historic Dockyard and visiting the HMS Victory and the Mary Rose (Both reviewed by me separately), we strolled over to the Gunwharf Quays for a little shopping and food.
The quays have both, and in abundance.
There is a good selection of stores and of restaurants.
The shops are high-end and trendy, with prices at all sorts of levels. Some are declared as "Outlets" and some are not. Check prices and you'll most probably find what you need and can afford.
For chocolate lovers, there is a Cadbury's outlet and a Lindt store. Yummy.
A slight drawback is that the place is open and when there is a wind blowing from the sea, it gets mighty chilly in between shops (Good for the shop owners....).
We decided to eat at Wagamama's, which was as god as expected.
Most restaurants are on the second floor, with nice views of the harbour.
Altogether, a good place to spend an evening.
Very Nice!!!
