Have been eating at this restaurant regularly over the last few years and the food is always of a high standard. The menu is good providing a wide choice and the staff are always friendly and helpful. During the week a special meal deal helps keep the price down.

I have eaten here very regularly over the past few years and never had a problem, however, ate here last week, had my usual dish and spent the next two days rolling around in bed with stomach cramps and a very bad stomach.... Cannot attribute it to anything else, other than a dodgy curry.

Although it is a little out of the way of the main Portsmouth / Southsea drag, this little gem, by Southsea Marina, is well worth seeking out. The setting is idyllic, and the restaurant itself has stunning views and is very clean (although, yes, they do need a new carpet/flooring). Spotless loos.
The food was absolutely delicious. We had the lunchtime special - £7.95 for one course, £9.95 for two. The onion bhajis were plump, soft inside, crisp outside, lovely spicing. The tandoori chicken tikka was so tender, so moist, so tasty, I wish I was eating it again! The cook does not appear to use food colouring, so the food has its natural colours. The main courses of lamb korma and chicken korma were also absolutely delicious and it was interesting to note that the korma sauce was different for each dish - the lamb korma was more savoury and the chicken sweeter, with a definite hint of nutmeg. Basmati rice with each, though the naan breads on the neighbouring table looked good.
Total cost for poppadums and chutneys, two soft drinks, 2 starters and main courses, was £29.00. Good value; we were stuffed and didn't need any supper!
