“Outstanding and very high tech!”

We had a brilliant week at forest corner lodge, the lodge itself was amazing and very high tech with everything you need from 5* accomdation. The only downside is the lodge does not have a sink or cooker, but don't let this stop you as we ate in the lodge most evenings with no trouble due to the state of the art gas BBQ (with hob) and dishwasher.

The location of the lodge is great, and in a ideal location for seeing the new forest and surrounding towns and villages. Wildlife is also a friendly neighbour waking up most mornings to horses, donkeys, ponies and cows grazing on the green out the front, or to seeing a hurd of deer whilst out on a evening walk.

With its added luxury of the hot tub, near by pubs, farm shop and horse riding at fir tree farm this is a truly magical place where we will return as soon as we can..

Beautiful lodge, very clean and close to local attractions such as Moors Valley, Paulton's Park and Only a 25 minute drive from Bournemouth Beach. The hot tub was a touch of luxury! Would recommend!

“Very clean and very warm”
Reviewed February 14, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Slightly smaller than I expected but super clean with lovely comfortable beds and all the mod cons. Would be even nicer in the summer as you would open the doors onto the patio. Radiators everywhere, so very warm, being winter. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and also the location was excellent.

“Luxury Lodge in Tranquil Setting”
Reviewed May 22, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Stayed for a few nights mid May, the Lodge was very clean and modern with just about every mod-con you could want. The setting was very peaceful and tranquil and we loved to sit outside and watch the horses and ponies wander around the village. Had a lovely meal at a local pub called The Old Beams. The only minor gripe I have is the access to the lodge it would benefit from a small bridge or even just a few big stepping stones to get across the stream to the lodge. Would definately recommend this place to others.

“Great house - very well appointed”
Reviewed May 18, 2014 for a stay in March 2014

Stayed for a week March 22nd to 29th. The house was excellent - finished to a high standard and well equipped. The only thing it really needs is direct access: the stream next to the house was too high to cross when we were there, so we had to walk around through the garden of the house next door all the time, which can't have been great of the people renting it. A bridge across the stream would be perfect!

Cannot fault the lodge and the owner's attention to making your stay top draw!! Truly unique!
The lodge offered a home from home feel, with lovely touches like the lovely tulips in the vase & tea, coffee a pint of milk in the fridge just in case you forgot your own!.
We loved the hot Tub and the sound system was awesome!
plus in the morning on the green outside, an array of donkeys and ponies ..made my day :)
good pub down the road at the old beams and walks galore in all directions.. highly recommend a stay here & we hope to come back one day!
