Had a lovely stay, went for 3 nights could've easily stayed for a week. Great facilities in a lovely quiet location. Short drive from Bournemouth and easy to find. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

My partner and I stayed at Forest Lodge to celebrate our anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The lodge is flawless; beautifully decorated, clean, with fantastic facilities (e.g. hot tub, 3D TV and Bose sound system) in a beautiful setting in the New Forest. We found it to be a great base for visiting the New Forest and surrounding areas, including Bournemouth. We loved the wildlife and tranquility. We will definitely be back and would absolutely recommend it - we didn't want to go home!
Me & my partner stayed here for 2 lovely nights & my only complaint would be that we couldn't stay longer as it was fully booked. Lovely little lodge, mordern with wonderful lights, decore, sound system & tv/dvd/xbox entertainment. Really loved the fireplace & the hottub. Quiet, homely & charming. Would definately stay again for a longer time hopefully. Thanks xx
Had a lovely stay here at Forest Lodge for our anniversary. Lodge was beautifully furnished and was situated right in the New Forest with ponies right outside the door! Would reccommend.
We've just returned from our second holiday at Forest Lodge and can't wait to go again!
The lodge is stunning with everything you could possible want from high tech sound systems to a hot tub in the garden. The owners are very thoughtful and even provide you with a loaf of bread and pint of milk to get you started. We felt at home as soon as we arrived.
The area is perfect for walking, cycling and horse riding with an added bonus of being away from the crowded spots. Even on our first visit in July, we rarely met anyone when out exploring the countryside.
Lots of lovely pubs around and only a few minutes away from the supermarkets in Ringwood.

The Forest Lodge is in the most tranquil setting. The lodge is beautiful with all the most upto date technology you can imagine. Even though it was October we still used the BBQ outside twice and enjoyed sitting on the decking admiring the view. Every morning we had a different animal outside the lodge ie cows, donkeys etc. which was lovely. The nearest pub is a five-ten minute walk but definitely worth going to. At night we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and then chilling out in the front room with the fire on watching the huge tv. We would definitely return.
My family and I had a wonderful time staying in the lodge. We booked a short weekend break to ‘recharge our batteries’ and to explore the New Forest. However having arrived at the lodge we were so spolit with the level of comfort and luxury we ended up spending 60% of the break just in the lodge. It was great.
Firstly, the very detailed instructions the owner sent us a few days before our break was a great introduction of what we could look forward too and allowed us to plan so we did not need to take too much stuff since a lot of the items was already provided and available. Also the booklet allowed us to get ourselves familiarly with the alarm and gadgetry so we did not waste time trying to figure things out on the day.
We loved the feeling of being left to ourselves, and that the lodge was for our full enjoyment and privacy during our time there, at the same time we were given contact details if we did need help so it was nice to enjoy that peace and family time.
Loved the hot tub and the media system, everything was easy to use and we were able to enjoy a good soak followed by a Blu ray film at the end of the day when our daughter was asleep.
Kitchen was a very good size and stocked with everything we needed to make a meal, plus an addition of a dishwasher was a joy for me who did not need to spend the time washing up.
The sleeping area was very good and of high quality, the mattress are soft and comfortable, each bedroom has a wonderful skylight so we could have nature light flooding in when I just wanted to relax and read in the bedroom. Very nice.
Bathroom was again very nice and the water pressure and hot water system was great. Only minor thing was the spare toilet being too small for an average male, it was too cramp a space but is ideal for kids.
Only minor gripe was the lack of signage to direct us to the entrance of the lodge, unfortunately the day we arrived it was pouring with rain so while myself and daughter waited in the car my husband had to make a quick dash along the lane looking behind bushes and trees to find the entrance to the lodge. Maybe a photo showing the path from the gravel parking to the lodge would help future guest.
Overall, we really had a wonderful time and came away relaxed. Will definitely recommend and would love to come back when we are in the area.
