We got here really late. They say they open until 11.30 and we rolled up after the pub at 11.15. No-one else was in the place, and we said that we'd rather do a take-away if they were in a urry to close up.
"No no my friend, we are here for hours to come, no problem. . . ."
They'd obviously closed the kitchens down, then re-opened them for us. If they want to go home earlier, just close earlier and try to avoid grabbing £25 off someone but please don't charge £1 (each!!) for pickle-tray items and cold poppadums, then re-heat soggy Naan bread, microwave mushroom pilau into a tepid sticky mess then stand over us like three vultures waiting for prey to die so we would finish up and leave.
In the end, fed up of having an audience of three waiters itching to lock the doors, we had the whole lot put into takeaway cartons and ate in our hotel room with borrowed cutlery.
The lamb rogan josh was sinewy mutton, but my girlfriends Chicken Dupiaza was quite tasty.
All in all I think this place COULD be OK if one goes at a sensible hour. They just threw microwaved crap at us for revenue raising purposes. It is desparate. Please don't do it to anyone else!!
