Although situated at the back of the main town. My husband and I enjoyed a very cosy dinner here on our way through the Cotswolds. The older lady who ran the bar was very welcoming and gave us the choice of options to eat as well as a selection of ales for my husband. The food was great as was the service. Had we known that the place had rooms we would have definitely stayed here instead of our Bed and Breakfast. Definitely worth a visit.

We were looking for somewhere too stay overnight. This was an off chance, and got a room for the night!
We found Liz (land lady) very nice indeed. A little on the go, but was on top off everything....We did get to have a good chat with Liz, she was wonderful.. She had Toby behind the bar serving,m who was polite also.
The food was second too none! Try the Lamb!! yum yum!

Nice old pub, the room was also pleasant, maybe a little out dated, but it was nice and relaxing. Well worth the £65.00 for a double room and shower room...

Thanks for a nice evening Liz and Toby!

Whilst driving through Winchcombe as such a beautiful village we decided to see if we could find a B&B. We walk through the whole village, eyeing up other pubs & restaurants only to return as the menu was so tempting. We were not disappointed. Outstanding food in quaint surroundings with a wide range of ales and wines (if you like whiskey you'd be hard pushed not to find one you have not tried!). The night was topped off with a peaceful night in our room over looking the gardens. (so nice to have a comfy bed with 'real' pillows) thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a special treat and to get away from it all !

Room Tip: ask for a room over looking the beautiful gardens !

I stayed here when doing the Cotswold way. It is a lovely old inn with a beautiful garden. The food and beer are good and good value.

Shame about the room which was old, tired and in need of decorating. The shower worked well but there was no hot water in the sink. The old kettle worked to brew a cuppa but the milk in the cartons was smelly cheese - well out of date.
My room did have a patio which was welcome. I may have bene put in this substandard room because I was travelling with my dog. the other rooms might be better.

Stayed here for one night whilst walking the Cotswold Way. The room was enormous, and the food delicious. Would highly recommend

Recommended to us however we had no expectations. Ended up feeling like family. Fantastic food and dining; very friendly staff; award winning garden and outdoors to while away some time or sit in the sunshine; room was good and warm as was the pub when the fire was going. This is a destination.
