Eaten at the Gumstool at Calcot Manor and enjoyed it (more informal) so thought we'd try The Conservatory. Very impressed. Greeted with pre-dinner drinks in the bar/lounge area where our orders were taken and then shown to our table to be served. Service was impeccable from the chair and napkin being re-arranged neatly while I was in the restroom and complementary drink when the wine list wasn't available for a few minutes. Food was presented beautifully and the taste lived up to expectations. Great to see the chefs at work in the kitchen and although more formal than The Gumstool, still a lovely relaxed atmosphere in classy decor. I've heard their having a re-furb soon, can't see that it needs it but can't wait to go back.
