A lovely comfortable, light & airy space for my extended family to prepare for our wedding day at Westonbirt. Owners really helpful on email when booking & baked a delicious cake! A gorgeous setting & loved seeing the dogs & ducks wandering round

“Brilliant venue for a special event.”
Reviewed April 15, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We stayed in the two cottages for a week in the run up and the weekend of my daughters wedding. As the week progressed we welcomed members of our family and the bridesmaids and close friends of the bride. Sitting around the log fire drinking nice wine, eating good food and enjoying lovely company was great. There was lots to do locally and my eldest daughter and family enjoyed days out at the zoo and the local Arboretum.
On the Thursday we welcomed the bridegrooms family for a fabulous meal prepared by Peter Vepers. The accomodation was extremely comfortable and the immediate surroundings gave the opportunity for lovely family walks.
Of course the highlight of the week was the wedding at Tormarton Church on Easter Saturday. What a lovely place for the bridal party to get ready in and I can't wait to see the photos that were taken of the bride leaving from a beautiful venue. Highly recommended.

“A real star!! this place felt like home with friendly owners and lovely setting!”
Reviewed May 30, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Only thing described that we found to be missing..the washer only washes ..not dries. No biggie.
And a new grill might be a good idea.
We would most definitely return. Tom, the owner's son was a delight and made our visit very sweet..even finding us a cooler to take to market!
The pizza at Priory is great!
Don't miss gardens at nearby Barnsley!!

“Superb”
Reviewed February 6, 2014 for a stay in February 2014

We stayed at Dovecote Barn for 3 nights for a Birthday celebration with family and friends and were very impressed with the standard of accommodation. It was more than spacious and very well laid out for a mixed group with plenty of bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. There was a lovely open fire and copious logs and in the adjacent barn we took advantage of the table tennis table.
The owners were friendly and helpful and had even baked us a cake ready for our arrival. We shall surely return possibly with a larger party as you can extend the accommodation by using the connecting door to the barn next door.

“daughters wedding weekend”
Reviewed April 21, 2013 for a stay in April 2013

Wow ,that was our first impression from everyone ,especially our daughter a real blessing when your little girl has stressed about planning her perfect day for well over a year you need a areas free homely environment for the bride and family to stay in ,this fellow TripAdvisor readers is what Mr and Mrs Ingle have achieved with the two barn conversions called Pan Tiles and Dovecote .Our wedding took place in the beautiful setting of westonbirt Arboretum followed by a reception in the great hall .Needless to say the day was wonderful, andour daughter had the wedding she worked so hard to organise with of course the kind help of everyone involved .So if you need a beautiful setting in tranquil and well equip,t premises then look no further than these lovely properties truly I could move here to stay forever .not to mention the welcoming touch of home cooking with personnel welcome from Mrs Ingle .We would like to say how welcome you made us all feel .Hope to see you both again very soon .
