This was our first time in the Cotswolds and we stayed in the perfect place.
Glen cottage ticked all the boxes.
We’re a family of three and we took our pug, we took advantage of the weather out walking all day every day and also took advantage of the local places to eat and drink
Rob was great at getting back to any questions ASAP no matter how silly....
Also offering great recommendations
10/10 for us
Stayed in Glen Cottage for 4 days and really enjoyed it. Great location for walking with our dog's and the weather was lovely and crisp. Sadly no wood for the wood burner but central heating made it cosy in the evening. Two good pubs nearby certainly go for Sunday lunch at The Lamb Inn but you need to book as its quality makes it busy.
Cottage was comfortable and well msontainef. We would certainly recommend a stay.
Booking was easy and the directions were perfect. This superb cottage was just right for us to chill out and spend time exploring the Cotswolds whilst being away from the noise and bustle of town and city life.
We have just spent a wonderful week at Glen Cottage Old Bussage. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The terrace garden was on three levels, accessed by stone steps(our Basset Hounds managed to master these unaided by the end of the week!)and the view from the top was spectacular. A summer house with chairs and a picnic table on the top level mean't we could dine alfresco in the evening sunshine. There were walks straight from the cottage and loads of places to visit nearby. Helpful books and pamphlets were neatly organised on the dresser in the hallway. Rob and Andreea, the owners were very helpful and only up the road if we needed them. They kindly brought us firewood and a bottle of wine and very nice wine it was too! The surrounding area was stunningly beautiful, the villages quintessentially English. Highly recommend a visit here.
Cottage was everything we needed to enjoy the wonderful scenery and surrounding countryside.
So much to see and do in the area and especially enjoyed a day in Gloucester, touring the Cathedral, the Historic Docks and of course shopping.
Rob was an amazing host and the bottles of "When in Rome" red and white wine were an added bonus
Great cottage, well equipped, cozy, warm and comfortable. Lovely area to explore. Pub down the road, The Ram Inn , did great food with a warm welcome.
Rob couldn't have been nicer, went out of his way to find us (at the pub!) and brought us some wine too.
We will be returning for another stay later in the year.
The cottage has stunning views over the Toadsmoor Valley and whilst the weather stopped us from enjoying the garden, it would be lovely to sit out with a glass of wine admiring the countryside. Wonderful local walks and plenty of good food and real ales in the nearby pubs. The cottage was cosy and we especially enjoyed the extra woodburner in the kitchen! The owner was really helpful and the facilities were excellent. We've already booked to return again! Would definitely recommend.
