“First class accommodation with fantastic views”
Reviewed April 27, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

8 adults, 1 child and a dog stayed for 3 nights in April 2015. The converted chapel is very well presented and worked well for our group. The kitchen is very well equipped with a large table that we could all sit around. We even mastered the induction hob. Lounge has two seating areas, one to watch the TV and one to sit around the wood burner. Enough seating for everyone. Comfy bedrooms and one towel provided per person. Outside there is a great fire pit with log seats and a large pub style table and benches. Great views from the front of the chapel over the valley.

This is a great area for walking and you can leave the car at home and set off from the front door.

Highly recommend and would stay again.

“The Cotswolds without Chintz”
Reviewed March 16, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

The Old Chapel doesn't have busloads of tourists whizzing to the next famous Cotswold town, what it does have is one of the most glorious views imaginable across the valley, especially from the master bedroom,
It has a great kitchen, a warm fire, a great pub within walking distance and an ability to make a man (or woman) relax, evem during the frantic festival that is Cheltenham races.
Feel the pulse plummet and the senses soar in The Old Chapel

“Amazing venue in a beautiful location”
Reviewed March 3, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Chapel and would recommend it highly. It is beautifully decorated with a very social kitchen space, cosy bedrooms and a lovely living area. We went for a walk in Slad valley which is also stunning followed by a great value meal in the local pub (the Woolpack). Great for family and friends alike.

Beautiful old chapel. Sympathetically decorated to keep its authenticity. Ideal for families sharing as so much room. Would love to go back in summertime so we could utilise the outside space. All mod-cons, it was like home from home with far superior views! Location ideal to explore the surrounding area. Locals are extremely friendly and the local pub is worthy of a visit or two!

“Our Stay at the Old Chapel”
Reviewed January 16, 2015 for a stay in January 2015

The property is very very comfortable, contemporary with a twist, very well located for visiting the surrounding area. The local pub The Woolpack is great venue to meet and dine. The locals are warm & welcoming dogs allowed. The views from The Old Chapel are outstanding.

“Stunning!!!”
Reviewed December 11, 2014 for a stay in December 2014

we unfortunately only got to stay in this amazing property for a weekend! the old chapel and its grounds were stunning!! we found a lovely walk nearby for the dogs and the fact the children (and adults) could play with mountain boards on the nearby beacon was an added bonus. there was plenty of space and activities for the 6 little boys we took. i think all of us that stayed in the house wanted to live there forever including the dogs!!!! we will be going back as soon as possible! very reasonably priced as well!! thank you so much to the owners. just a fantastic home to stay in!!!
