A good range of menu choices, generous servings (I couldn't finish my lobster linguine - but it was only 5.30pm....) and reasonably priced. A welcome alternative to Italian/pizza chain restaurants.

Obviously a popular place, because even this early on a Saturday evening, there were plenty of punters. Would certainly visit again when we had more time.

Booked for dinner for two on a Saturday night after seeing it reviewed positively on TripAdvisor, and the restaurant was totally full so I'd definitely advise calling in advance. Slightly put off by the amount of tables crammed into such a small space. The managers were obviously trying to capitalise on the good reputation, but we did feel it was a bit at the expense of the atmosphere. It was hard to talk over the general noise. Decor was nothing special either. But looking at the menu and then the specials board definitely raised our expectations. I'd have been happy to just order off the board without even looking at the regular options. Fresh mussels, pasta with lobster etc.

The insalata caprese to start was a little bit odd - I was expecting just ripe tomatoes and mozzarella, but it was served on a big bed of lettuce. Not the best I've ever had, but it was ok. The bruschetta was nice too.

Main course - two absolutely huge portions of pasta. Really tasty, generous, and I didn't want to stop eating! The chef didn't scrimp on the pricier ingredients like prawns either.

The service was decent - prompt but without making us feel rushed to clear our table. I'd go back, but probably with a larger group of friends rather than a date.

Friendly popular restaurant with good standard of food. Obviously popular as a number of tables were taken on a cold foggy Wednesday in January. Would recommend you eat there if in Stroud.

We took 20 staff here for a Christmas meal and everything was excellent. The food was perfect, can't even think of the smallest thing to complain about. The service was so good despite the restaurant being absolutely full and every one of us had a fabulous evening. Very highly recommended.
