My friend & I stayed at Cross Keys Cottage and it was by far the best B&B we stayed at. It was a lovely stay at a quaint authentic Cotswold cottage. We used the twin attic room which was quaint. The owners, Margaret and Roger could not do enough for us and had great local knowledge. The breakfast was excellent and the accommodation lovely. We could not recommend this place enough and will stay here again without hesitation if we ever return/

This is a great place - easy walk to town destinations, and great base for roaming the Cotswolds. Roger & Margaret are charming as can be, and the room we had was just what we expected and hoped for. Definitely would stay there again.

We really liked this B and B. The main asset of this B and B are the owners. You could not ask for a nicer, more helpful people. I really appreciated that they answered their e mail in a very timely manner. They assisted us by making good restaurant/pub recommendations and answered all our travel questions. The room was nice. It had free wifi! You get a key for the front door so you can come and go when you please. The breakfasts are excellent. I enjoyed their traditional English breakfast. After that you don’t need to eat for the rest of the day!

Parking can be an issue on busy weekends. We were lucky in that we found a space in a unrestricted area in front of the B and B. Just up the street is 2 hour parking until 6:00 PM. But at night when the crowds thin you can find a place in front of the hotel without too many problems.

I think there are just 4 rooms so I would book early especially for busy times.

I recommend this B and B.

Room Tip: Book early.

My daughter and I traveled through the Cottswolds in 2011 and just happened to stop here for the night. Roger was so kind and wonderful. They had one room left and took great care of us. The next morning we had a lovely breakfast with other travelers who were staying there. I will be returning to stay there on my next trip through. Thanks!

Room Tip: Try to get a room off the street.

My wife and I have visited the Cotswolds a number of times and sampled many a B&B. Cross Keys is amongst the best we have stayed at, so we hope to return.

Fellow travellers will be interested in the following positive aspects of Cross Keys:
1. Quaint village location ... one of Cotswolds most scenic and authentic
2. Ample parking (street)
3. Super clean
4. Abundant well thought out breakfast offering (see the photos)
5. Extensive library of local information, sights to see, guide books, and walks
6. Only 4 rooms .... So you get the personal touch and really get to relax

Very nice, clean room. Hosts serve a great full breakfast. Location is is good. Only drawback is that if you are driving there is no car park and parking on the street can be difficult to find. Had a great time and would stay there again.
