Stayed over new year and very happy with the property. Very well equipped with all conveniences and a great location, just off the Main Street in Stow yet tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac.....best of both worlds.

The property is very warm, relaxing and cozy and has plenty of space, having 2 doubles bedrooms and a single attic room. The log fire is a real treat and keeps the place very toasty. Kitchen is very well equipped and has all the utensils and equipment you would need for a self catering break.....we cooked in 4 nights and didn't want for anything,

Great comms from owner throughout the booking process, including of a mix up(my fault) with the check out date.....was very accommodating and sorted it out very quickly....much appreciated.

Stow itself is beautiful and there are lost of great places to eat in the town, the bell pub is literally a 1 minutes walk and has a great atmosphere and even better food.

We had our dog with us and the location is perfect for walks in the surrounding countryside....it really is idyllic.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to a friend or visit again.

Reviewed December 16, 2014 for a stay in December 2014

Stayed for a weekend with close family members looking to relax and wind down. The cottage was really well looked after and the owner laid on every convenience needed.

Beds were very comfortable and lovely fresh bedding and towels laid on. Great space and comforts for any occasion.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. Highly recommended Thank you David and Miriam

Just returned from a lovely few days stay at Yew Tree Cottage. Excellent location within a few minutes walk of shops and pubs. Cottage had everything for a relaxing break, very clean and cosy feeling to the place. Stayed with my husband, 12 year old daughter and Cocker Spaniel. Hope to stay here again soon.

What a lovely stay we had at the Jew Tree Cottage. The cottage is really near to everything and contains of everything you'll need for a nice holiday stay. Our little family of 3 enjoyed every bit of it. We can highly recommend Stow on the Wold and Jew Tree Cottage, a perfect hideaway in beautiful country side of Cotswold. Now back in Sweden we miss all the nice flowers, pubs and historic walks around the city.

“Perfect Location for visiting Cotswolds”

Stayed here with my wife for a week in August for touring and walking. The website photos make the living room look darker than it really is. The accommodation is well equipped and cosy. The kitchen appliances have hardly been used. Probably to do with all the fantastic restaurants and pubs with walking distance in Stow on the Wold. Couldn't fault the accommodation or Stow on the Wold. The cottage is at the edge of the village out of the way of the parking issues for the centre. Takes 5-10 minutes to walk to the village square. The Bell pub is just across the road and serves great food. Also try Treebus Tea Rooms who operate as a restaurant on weekend nights, great seafood and staff. Make sure you book restaurants including the ones in the pubs or you won't get a table no matter the night.
