Well worth a visit, both for the church itself and its charming doors, which are around the back. Try to go early in the day, as it gets busy with tourists.

We visited St. Edward's to see the door flanked by yew trees and would have liked to see the interior but there was a funeral taking place.

We couldn't find the 'trees' that appear to be attached to the building. Obvoiusly very community spirited they had an open house afternoon on shrove tuesday for pancakes and coffee. Lovly stained glass windows

We were happy to be able to go into this nice old church and join into the early Christmas celebrations by walking round and see all the decorated trees. We had to vote for the best ones and it was good to join into the churchcomunity for a short while. Sure the church be worth visiting any other time as well.

While visitng the lovely market town of Stow on the Wold we had a walk around the grounds of the imposing St Edwards Church that was built between the 11th and 15th century. As we walked around we came across a doorway that had a tree either side of the entrance. With exposed roots facing you and the trees 'hugging' the building they looked to be a part of the doorway and made a remarkable site. Certainly worth a look while in town, it's just a short walk from Market Square.
