We absolutely loved staying at the Porch House. The accommodations were wonderful - our room was cosy and comfortable and we loved spending time in the snug and bar, relaxing and playing games. The staff was also very helpful, offering advice on where else to eat in town and what other sites to visit in the Cotswolds. We ate in the restaurant one night during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed our meal - the food was great and served at a leisurely pace so we didn't feel rushed through any courses.
Separately Stow-on-the-Wold is a perfect little town. Not overwhelmed with tourists (even in August) and has all the charm of the busier Cotswold towns (Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway).More
