4th Stay in 2 years and happy to say all have been consistently good. Have stayed in main hotel, standard and delux rooms and in the adjacent coach house which is a 20 second walk from hotel front door.
Rooms of equivalant standard in both. Just one comment that on our most recent stay our double was actually 2 singles pushed together, but it didnt affect the stay.
Restaurant is of high standard with generally excellent quality food, and very prompt service, though they are happy to go at a slower pace if you wish. The food is not cheap pub grub so expect to pay £30 per head for a 3 course meal and a pot of coffee, but in my mind well worth it. Wine starts from £15 for cheap housewines up to several hundred...One tip is to book an inclusive B+B and evening meal package if you intend to eat there...it will save you a few pounds.
Breakfast is excellent with continental buffet and full cooked offerings.
Loacation is lovely, with nice veiws just set back off the Fosse Way about half a mile south of Stow...it's not in Stow itself so be aware it would take 15 minutes up the hill to walk there.
Overall a great place and we'll be back again...soon hopefully!

We found ourselves here as a result of thinking we'd booked another hotel. We were not disappointed!

The room (number 20) was large with fantastic views - not the best ever re décor but clean, well serviced and had all we needed for our weekend stay.

The gardens are a treat - beautiful

The staff were fantastic; very personable friendly and professional at all times.

The food - absolutely perfect! Very tasty imaginative food of the highest quality and standard. Dinner was the best!

we had planned to eat out on our second night but opted to return and savour once more the fantastic Fosse Manor dining experience - wonderful again!

Price - very fair and the dinner was excellent value

Groupon lead me and mr. ChittyChatty to this wonderful petite manor. From first contact to the checking out we really enjoyed our short break. Our bedroom was more then spacious, the view from our window was lovely and the manor is in a great location to venture elsewhere into the Cotswolds.

Would definitely return!

Thank you Annie for your hospitality!

We stayed at this hotel for one night on a dinner, bed and breakfast package. We were in the standard size room, which was perfectly adequate in size with a decent bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant and were served a wonderful, fresh and interesting meal - would definitely eat in this restaurant again.
Overall we had a wonderful relaxing night away.

Booked this as a family break / get together with my 2 sisters, our husbands and our elderly dad. We wanted a good hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds, and this had a very appealing weekend offer.
Hotel overall, clean, friendly and comfortable.
Plusses include excellent breakfasts, all our rooms clean,comfy and pleasant, lovely gardens, views etc
The drawbacks however, mean that we probably wont return.
these include the fact that we were unable to eat our evening meal till late - earliest being 7 pm on Friday and 8 pm on Saturday(our dad is a severe diabetic and needs to eat around 6pm) ;
the price of drinks from the bar were considered by all to be expensive;
our 4 men said that the beers, lager and cider tasted awful!

The Fosse Manor is a special place for us - having met locally in 1998, we were married there in 2001, when a wonderful wedding was organised for us.

We have been back several times to celebrate anniversaries, and stayed for 2 nights in July 2011 to celebrate our 10th wedding aniversary.

In the intervening period, the hotel has changed hands and has benefitted from a much-needed re-vamp.

We stayed in Room 1, which was comfortably furnished, and had 2 good nights' sleep. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the service, and we are delighted that Doris is now the restaurant manager, having looked after us so well 10 years ago.

The wines are reasonably priced if you know what you are looking for, and we were very pleasantly surprised that our menu choices fell within the allowance of the half board rate.

It isn't a particularly cheap place to stay, especially given that it has only a 3-star rating, but it is very comfortable, well-located and charming, and has an excellent restaurant.

Room Tip: Probably best not to have a room over the kitchen - we had one once and there was more noise there b...

Stayed for 1 night. Was a very nice hotel, nice room with a DVD player and a reasonable choice of free DVDs. Staff all very friendly and very nice. Only issue I had was that I had booked through Hotels.com therefore already paid but was charged at check-out but this was easliy resolved and so no biggie.
Breakfast was very nice too. Free Wi-Fi is a must these days and this was available around the bar and reception area so ok but would have been nice to have in the room as well.
Would stay again for sure and would recommend.
