“Quaint restaurant”

Nice small restaurant which is child friendly.
We went early evening with our 2 year old and had the set menu. The menu was simple but food was good.
We booked earlier in the day which I would advise as the restaurant was fully booked.

“Fine food, fair price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

Worth making a reservation as they can get quite busy and tables are limited. But worth the visit. Nicely presented, cooked to perfection and well received by taste buds. The claim that produce is sourced locally and fresh seems to be the case. A good find and wish I lived closer - would most certainly re-visit.
Refreshing to be able to make most favourable comments.

“Visit and Enjoy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2013

This is a small restaurant just off the main square. The menu has a good choice and is priced fairly. We were a party of four and each one of us had a different meal. I had fish and chips which is beautifully cooked. This restraurant cooks everything to order. The service is wonderful and the staff firendly. If we visit Stow again as we intend, we will certainly be booking a table. Please note the restaurant does not open on a Sunday. I did wonder if I would not write a review on this eating house but keep its location to myself, just in case I could not get a table in the future but I could not be that selfish! Visit and enjoy.

“Thank you Lindsay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013

We met up with friends Jayne and Dave Court, and we had the most relaxed and scrummy meal, Lindsay was brilliant. Only problem was that we wanted a bit of everything from the menu, difficult to choose but we did a lot of sharing - Thank you for a wonderful evening! Mike & Moira Cernik x

“What a find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2013 via mobile

Tucked away you are unlikely to know it's there unless you are wandering down alleys. Really good range of food. Specials include soup of the day, tart of the day, fish of the day and dessert of the day. All explained as soon as we sat down and clearly displayed on a specials board. Staff were friendly and the place had a steady turnover of customers. Outside seating if sunny. Only thing I would warn is that the conveniences are upstairs so if you can't cope with stairs this is not the place if you should need to go. That said a lot of the customers when we were there were in their dotage and coped well with the stairs. I got the impression a lot of the customers were regulars but strangers were equally warmly welcomed.
