In a village of pricey restaurants the Queen's Head shone out as a lovely traditional old pub with wooden tables and high backed settles. The prices were reasonable, food freshly cooked and the choice and quality excellent. I am told it also sells the best beer in town! I thoroughly enjoyed my food every night of our stay in the locality; it was piping hot and tasty. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and relaxed. Why would we eat anywhere else?

Main courses with all vegetables included were mostly £9.95 to £10.95 and desserts £4.95. They didn't seem to offer great choice for vegetarians I have to say.

Authentic, great food and terrific atmosphere. Locals are allowed to take in their beautiful dogs - we enjoyed that aspect so much as in Australia that cannot happen. It made the pub feel homely and the dogs are so well behaved. We loved this pub and would highly recommend.

Stopped here for a drink on a rare hot summers day whilst visiting the Cotswold area.

We sat in their rear garden, which was a reasonable size with about 6 tables outside within a walled garden. Whilst not super spacious it was by no means cramped.

Only stopping for a drink there is not a lot of comment we can make other than the staff were friendly and prices reasonable.

They are a dog friendly pub in and outside which was great, as few are.

The pub was not busy but not quiet and from what we could see the food looked appetising all be it I can not comment on the taste.

We loved this pub but our meals were cold and overcooked.. We were disappointed because our friends recommended it. However, there seemed to be a lot of local people there, so maybe they just had an off night.
