The Steps Cottages was perfection. After our 3 night stay our kids were begging to move into the cottage, no one wanted to leave. Amazing.

“Lovely place, very well located. Accommodation perhaps tight for ten adults-otherwise would have been five stars.”
Reviewed May 10, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Hottest mayday bank hol on record. Cotswolds roads a predictable nightmare-so very pleased to have this oasis of calm a minutes walk from the great eating and drinking in the centre of beautiful Stow.
We were five adults and 5kids and it worked well for us but perhaps a bit tight for 10adults.
Beautiful garden in full spring bloom-enjoyed to the full.

“Lovely cottage in a fantastic location”
Reviewed September 15, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We booked as a group of cyclists on tour. The carrot cake and cava on arrival was greatly appreciated after a first day of very wet cycling! Even better, was the wood burner ready to light....Numerous washing machines and tumble dryers meant we were ready for day two. Stow has a large number of very good restaurants so the location of the cottage was fantastic as we were only about 5 mins walk from all of them. There was a slight drainage problem linked to next door but the owner responded very quickly and sorted out with minimum fuss while we were out so not an issue at all for the weekend stay. Would definitely stay again.

“Wedding in Stow on the wold”
Reviewed September 1, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Great cottage, was spacious although lounge was quite small if cottage was full with 10/12 people. Very welcoming and cosy. The location is perfect being on the square of the main town. Walking distance of pubs, supermarket, church and other shops. Perfect for families or group of friends. When arrived had a special little extra of cake, cava and red wine. Such a lovely touch. Would def recommend and would stay again if looking for somewhere in the area

“Pleasant and enjoyable stay at the cottage”
Reviewed June 30, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Pleasant stay at the cottage. Very good location. The sun room gives us a wonderful view of the beautiful garden. Loved the nice smelling roses and flowers. The bolt hole is a comfortable place to play with your family. Would definitely recommend. - from my 10-year old

Nine of us stayed for a weekend having usually booked into B&B's whilst attending an annual conference. The cottage proved to be a great success for all and cheaper than booking into B&B or hotel accommodation in the area. The complimentary cake and wine was also well received! The accommodation was clean, warm and well presented. I can imagine in the summer the garden would be lovely to sit out in. Will definitely be booking next year.

“Happy Holiday!”
Reviewed August 12, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Stayed at Steps Cottage for 4 nights with my husband, daughter and her boyfriend. The cottage and the 'Bolthole' were spotlessly clean and well presented, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable holiday. The bedrooms were good (I was glad to see a television in one of them in the main house) and the shower over the bath was clean and there was a good supply of towels and bed linen. The location of the cottage was excellent - right at the top of Stow and a very short walk from fabulous pubs/restaurants. There was a washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher - all of which came in very handy. The owners had left a supply of things to get us through the first night and a lovely touch was the bottle of wine and delicious chocolate cake. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone. We're already planning a return trip in the next few weeks - we enjoyed it so much.
