My wife and I stayed at the Falcon Inn on 26th October 2013 and I would recommend this hotel most strongly. The staff were friendly and efficient, the meal was superb and the rooms very clean. Breakfast was one of the best full English I have had in a long time.

The room we stayed in (No 1) had a great view of the churchyard and the surrounding hills. Just one minor point I meant to raise with the staff but simply forgot, the bathroom fan in the adjoining room is very noisy and does sound loud even through the walls.

I will certainly be booking this hotel again when next we are in the Cotswolds.

Very good B & B, with charming French Countryside decor. Good location, excellent rooms with quality duvets and pillows. It was heaven to sleep after a long drive :-)

Top notch cleanliness, service, and general quality of food. Very helpful hosts and service. Hilghly recommend this place.

We stayed for two nights in October 2013. We were delighted with the initial welcome we received and the very high level of service which was maintained throughout our stay. Breakfast was very good and we ate dinner in the bar on both evenings. The food was excellent and the wine list well chosen. Our room was comfortable. We hope to return very soon. It was a real bonus that our dog was welcome too.

Stayed one night and had not booked in advance. It was nice to be offered a choice of rooms for a solo traveller.
All the staff were pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.
Room was clean and comfy, although the bathroom water pressure could have been better, but I think this is in hand.
Food was excellent and my clean plate was evidence of this.
I look forward to returning here soon.

all was ok, but just they just seem to be missing this extra little to make it good or even great. very disappointed when we wanted dinner and it was fully booked - we stayed two nights and they do not tell you (nor ask on breakfast) if we wanted to secure a table. we even offered to eat in the room / come early or very late but we've just been told 'kitchen is on the limit'. it looks like that they can only do one seating as we headed out to the only other place to eat in town at 7.30 and the restaurant was half empty! that a big let down. the hotel rooms are ok, loud and not very cosy. shame as it has potential.

Really like this hotel. Good location being in the centre of the village.Great bed and pillows. Didn't eat there in the evening as had arranged to go into Gloucester but wished we had when we went into the bar after we got back . The food looked great and the staff were very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed our breakfast the next day. Freshly cooked and piping hot.We will return.Hope to have a look at the Roccoco Gardens next time .They were closed with no reason given.

I have been visiting the Falcon Inn for the past twenty years and have seen it with many owners and managers. It is now at the best I have experienced. The room has been upgraded and the meal we have just enjoyed was delicious. AND feather pillows !
