We stayed at the Falcon Inn for two nights in May and most of our stay was very enjoyable. Our room was on the top floor, quite small, with only a slight view of the roof tops and a tea tray, which could only be used by plugging the kettle in over the other side of the room on the floor. This apart the room was spotless with an amazing comfortable hugh bed. We dined on the Friday evening and whilst the food was very good, we did have to wait an exceptionally long time to be served, due to the amount of dinners. The staff themselves were excellent and could not have been more helpful. One major problem was that we did not have any hot water to shower on the Saturday morning, even though it was an electric shower. We were given the option of using the staff shower on a lower floor, but we felt that this was not really an option moving our things up and down the stairs. Although the management was extremely apologetic with regard to this, we really expected more.
