My husband and I had lunch here (jacket potatoes) and it was a nice lunch. Having lunch presented on a plates with doilies made us smile.
The staff were very attentive.
It perhaps could do with a little refreshing inside, while tea rooms are supposed to be old fashioned, the Marshmallow did have a bit of a B&B dining room vibe.

We were driving through Moreton and used our rule of if there's a parking place we will have a bite to eat. It was Bank Holiday Monday and we found a space right outside Marshmallow. Walking in our first impression was that it's rather down at heel. However don't let it's tired look put you off. We had two meals, cottage pie and liver and bacon. Both were full of flavour, simply presented and very tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. It cannot be compared to modern restaurants that we are all used to but give it a go the food is well worth it.

Nice and homely appearance but thought the food was average for both quality and presentation. Would not go again

Asked to move to a table outside , on a wet day , when we visited with a tiny toy poodle the cafe was empty at the time! Appalling in view of the fact that they have a sign on the door saying they are dog friendly !
Take the sign down ! It's got to be offending the trade description act there is Nothing friendly about this place !!

In Moreton for my partner's visit to herhairdresser, we stopped for tea, coffee, and (in the event) cheese scones with red onion jam. The coffee came in a heat-retaining cafetière, and was enough for a cup and a half (black); the pot of tea was beautifully presented, leaf (not the dreaded teabags), and was served with a finger of shortbread. The scones were homemade, light and fluffy, cheesy, with a generous amount of butter, and a small pot of very tasty red onion jam. I'd recommend the Marshmallow to anyone spending time in Moreton in Marsh; we'll definitely be returning next time my partner has her head done.
