“A walk in the woods”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2013

Visited here last Monday, Was every bit as good as we hoped for, despite the drizzling rain. shame the shabby chic shop was closed but we did know that before we went & weren't in a position to re schedule. Had a cup of hot chocolate & scone in the cafe afterwards & both were of good quality.

“Tasty and Quick Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

We've eaten here about six times over the past year and always found the food to be tasty and the people cooking or serving it (it's cafeteria style) to be friendly. You can eat inside in the warmth or dry or on fine days, outside on the terrace. Then you can take a nice walk around the nursery and make some purchases. The coffee and hot chocolate are nice too.

“Never fails to please”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013 via mobile

We didn't pick quite the right day for our annual visit, but still the place continues to delight. Even in the rain you cannot fail to be enthralled by the colours of the leaves in autumn. I was told by the guy at the till that the snowdrops are wonderful, so I feel a trip at a different time of the year coming on .....

“Fascinating foliage and a good trail well marked”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

This is a lovely place to visit in autumn to see the amazing colours of the many and varied trees. It also has a great garden centre with a really extensive stock of all things for the gardener, as well as a nice looking restaurant.
