“Very enjoyable stay”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

I stayed for one night to join in the birthday celebrations of a family member.

I found every aspect of the hotel to be excellent :the staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms very comfortable, and the food was first class.
I loved the extra treats of a decanter of sherry, and cafetiere with fresh ground coffee in the room!

I hope to return at some time in the future and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Room Tip: We stayed in an older room in the main hotel, which was very comfortable. Others in our party had th...

Very good experience all round. only a one night stay but everything was first class. The room was very warm and comfortable albeit a bit small but very well appointed. Staff are very obliging and competent and friendly as well. A very welcome tot of sherry in the room on arrival.

We have just enjoyed a four night stay at the Redesdale Arms, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
stayed in a courtyard bedroom with generous sized seating area, good sized bathroom with super shower and whirlpool bath, lots of hot water. Despite cold weather room was very cosy and warm, and also very clean. Breakfast good selection of fruit, buffet well stocked and freshly cooked, really enjoyed the fried bread.
Did not book dinner bed and breakfast, but enjoyed food so much had dinner three evenings, our favourites being the sea bass and the coffee creme brulee to follow.
This being our first trip hope to soon return

Room Tip: courtyard rooms easy access to ample carparking

Our third visit to Redesdale Arms Hotel! Truly a special three day retreat to forget the icy chills of February. Set in the heart Cotswold country the location makes touring the area so easy. We had a suite in the mews at the rear of the hotel - clean spacious almost a home from home. Shower terrific and the wee carafe of sherry went down a treat. The new restaurant is not only a lovely edition to a hotel that can trace its history to 1615 - the standard of food and service is marvellous and a credit to Rob the Manager and his superb staff.

Having spent time exploring it was always a delight to return to the log fire warmth of the friendly bar.

Breakfast to dream about - diet starts tomorrow! Best wedding anniversary to date.

We will be back and highly recommend this glorious hotel to all.

Room Tip: All the rooms are grand - if you have mobility difficulties the ground mews rooms best.

Great location. We had a superior room which was comfortable, clean and spacious. The food was so good that we ended up eating at the hotel both nights. We took our 21/2yr old away with us and the staff were friendly and very helpful with her. Would deffinately recommend a stay.

Not the first time we've stayed here, but decided to share our great experience this time! People all super friendly (special mention to Colette ... great welcome and always making sure we were having a great break!). We had the Deluxe Junior Suite this time (in the mews at the rear of the hotel), but have previously stayed in another mews room and a room in the original building itself. Our choice would be one of the mews rooms ... great standard, nice little touches. Food was FANTASTIC! Breakfast great, evening meal SUPERB! Recharged now, partner had a great birthday treat. Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Rooms in rear mews are more modern. Rooms in the main building have charecter. Our choice ... mews r...
