Started of well we were seated & orders taken quickly, went down hill from there, the food took such a long time to arrive and when it did they forgot to serve my daughter, we had to find a server to get her food, she was bored! The mains were nice, but not worth the wait!! Our children had their pudding included, but again we waited an age to get a sever to bring us menus, it then took so long for them to come back we gave up and asked for the bill - after questioning paying full price for the children when they hadn't got to their pudding, their charges were knocked off. Which helped a little. I should mention the restaurant was no where bear full and 4 staff were hanging around talking with their backs turned most of this time! We won't be going back.

We wanted to go to Piazza Fontana (having been there before) but sadly it was ? temporarily closed. So we popped in to Pizza Express instead and were feeling worried because of previous reviews about the numbers of kids (I have never seen so many high chairs stacked in a restaurant!). We need not have worried as the restaurant was very quiet when we visited. We were offered a table very quickly and orders were taken pronto. We both had thin base pizzas which were delicious and to drink we had Peroni (bottled) and a nice glass of house red (Merlot). We were pleased with all aspects of our meal and found the staff efficient and attentive. Would definitely return - after the mums and dads have put their darling children to bed that is...!!

A thoroughly friendly and efficient lunch. Food was good in the small but attractive eatery. Would recommend a visit if in Cirencester.

Saturday lunch time was more like a kindergarten than a kindergarten! Seems like all parents (us included) had the same idea.... I asked the waiter and supposedly it's like that every week, so for parents looking for patient staff and not to have worry about how much noise the kids make, then this is the place...

Food is quite good and I particularly like hot food and the spicy pizzas are actually that, which makes a nice change for a chain of restaurants.

It is my understanding that Pizza Express is considered a quite place to grab a bit of pizza/pasta etc and not somewhere you would normally book for. Well, the "creche" as we call it in Cirencester now expects that you book in advance.
Me and my partner visited here again the other day and have finally hit end of tolerance level with this establishment.
On arrival (on a Thursday at 5:15 pm) we were firstly ignored for 10 minutes at the door while the girls had a quite chat with the chef. We were finally asked if we had booked to which we replied that we hadn't. The girl then explained they were fully booked and that there would be an hour wait(?!). We explained that we are quick eaters (normally in and out in 30 mins) and that it wasn't an issue , but she insisted they were full and made no attempt to try and find us seating and said we should come back in 30 minutes.... why 30 minutes if you have no tables for an hour?.... last time i checked 30 mins was less than an hour... ?!

So, glancing around we noticed that, other than the usual creche situation (it's the local hangout for women with kids and is a very nosiy restaurant to the point of being quite unpleasant at time... but we like the food so persist with it mostly) that there are at least 4 tables not being used and were set up for diners as well as two sets of tables that had been pushed together into a long long which were covered in dirty/used plates, glasses etc. So, basically half the restaurant was empty. On pointing this out, it still didn't help and she said she would need 30 minutes to clear a table... seriously?!

Suffice to say, we left, unimpressed and shall not return to this branch ever again.
