“Brilliant - Felt like an amazing treat for all, grownups, teenagers and kids - perfect mix of fun and relaxing.”
Reviewed July 10, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Amazing location of property which is very close to the spa and pool. The spa is lovely and in our group we experienced excellent facials, massages, pedicures. Pool great and is all one depth so very good for younger kids, lovely pool in and out and steam room and sauna plus great plunge cold eco pool. Gym well fitted out. We played tennis, kids played football. The restaurant was good for brunch. Beautiful surroundings we were a party of nine, hired a boat, with some walking and some boating to beaver creek with a picnic and children loved the treasure hunt.
There is a very high specification on the property with great luxury additions and products. Kitchen very nicely done with great coffee machine, lovely glasses both glass and plastic, and is very well equipped. Entertainment was great with a PS4 and WiiU - amazing sound system and lots of big screen TV's - great for Wimbledon final. Highlight was roof top terrace and gorgeous hot tub - we had a brilliant busy and relaxing weekend.
Would highly recommend this property with its fantastic attention to detail and added luxury extras. We came from London and this was a perfect weekend getaway for a special birthday celebration.

“Luxurious modern living in the middle of the best part of England!”
Reviewed June 26, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

I have stayed at Lower Mill Estate on 3 other occasions and have always enjoyed my stay. I must say however this place was probably the best so far. Neptune Lodge was incredible. The rooms were gorgeous and really well finished - the en suite bathroom in the master bedroom was exceptional - and the two double bedrooms had brilliant (and large) balconies that over looked the sweet and quiet private water gardens.

This place was equipped with top-notch and high-end NEFF kitchen appliances (yes - a dishwasher!), SONOS music speakers in every single room, a wicked games 'snug' area and a huge flat screen TV with Blu Ray 3D player and a stack of DVDs to watch too.

Beds were really big and comfy and everything was spotless. One bit of advice though, make sure the heating is low in summer as it gets very hot, very quickly. each room as a thermostat so nice and easy to get your room perfect for you.

Without doubt however the sunroof and hotter were the best feature i think I've ever seen in a holiday rental property. You have to experience it for yourself but at the press of a button the huge glass sky roof lifts up and creates a huge third floor which is absolutely stunning.

The estate also has a lovely spa, great indoor and even better outdoor heated pools, and a natural pond (we didn't go in as didn't want to get that cold!).

We'd definitely go back again and would highly recommend it.

Huge thanks to Tim and his team for being so wonderful and always on hand to answer our questions (even if we needed to know what tiles were in the bathrooms!!).

Go and see it for yourself. You'll be impressed.

“A fabulous place to stay with family and friends”

We love Lower Mill Estate and have stayed there four times and keep coming back for more. This stay was no different - Wild Briar is an absolute gem of a place to stay. We were staying with children, parents and grandparents and it was spacious enough to keep us all happy, but it also has a welcoming cosy feel with fantastic views over the lake. It is well placed for the facilities, being reasonably close to the Spa,playground and shop

The kids aged 5 to 11 had a wonderful time - walking, cycling, swimming in the spa. trampolining and playing in the play areas. It was possible to play tennis but we missed out on booking a court by being too slow to sign up for a court (it was Easter so was really busy on the tennis courts). There are brilliant walks from the door all around the estate with great potential for nature spotting - I did come across one lady having a tour with a ranger which looked very interesting.

The beds were really comfy and it was very peaceful at night. There was plenty of hot water even with a full house.

The kitchen was well laid out and well equipped and we took it in turns to cook from our shopping that we had arranged to be delivered by Waitrose, shortly after we arrived.

The shop on-site is fantastic for forgotten items and had really good coffee and croissants. There is also a cafe there now which is new to us - the menu looked great - we will be sampling their fare next time..... As it was Easter, there was also an Easter egg hunt that was arranged via the shop which the kids thought was wonderful.

We had a great weekend and didn't leave Lower Mill for the whole 3 days - there was plenty to keep us occupied there and it is lovely place to spend time chilling out and catching up.
