We were pleasantly surprised by the food. The roast beef came rare and pink which was a treat, and the Yorkshire pud and horseradish sauce were home made. The pork had lovely crackling with it and all veg were fresh and cooked al dente. Each component of the dish perfectly cooked. Puddings excellent also, and a good choice. Friendly pleasant service and made to feel welcome. We enjoyed it very much and the meal cheered up a grey, windy wintry day- so we will definitely be returning- and soon!

We returned to the Falcon after many years, during which it has been through different regimes. Sunday lunch was a real delight - rare roast beef, served pink (instead of the usual regulation grey) and thinly sliced, with great vegetables and roast potatoes, and succulent, moist pork belly, with crunchy crackling, were great choices for main courses. Puddings shone as well, as did a budget bottle of Margaret River (Western Australia) red wine. service was good - drinks offered promptly, only a short wait for food; and the surroundings are very pleasant. All for a great price - two courses were £16.50 - amazing value given the quality and quantity of the food. We'll definitely be back to sample lunch and dinner service.

We regularly drive around the Cotswolds at weekends hoping to find a good pub for lunch. We have passed the Falcon many times without calling in. Today we did. WE so wished we had done so before.
This place is a delight.
We chose to have the two course special lunch menu - which we increased to the three course with little persuasion.
Wonderful value - superb food, imaginative & superbly cooked.
Lovely service - impossible to fault.
We will be back again soon with more of our family.

We chose this venue from Trip Advisor, and were certainly not disappointed. The style is simple but contemporary, with a large window between kitchen and dining room. We chose from the lunchtime menu, and were all equally delighted with the quality of food, the presentation and also flavour combinations of the dishes we chose. This restaurant is well worth the trip out of town, and we shall definitely be returning in the future.

The quality and presentation of the food at The Falcon is excellent, not quite fine dining but not far off and certainly generous portions. The wine selection is adequate and again, very good quality. Service was exceptional and we were very well looked after without being too oppressive. From the outside I doubt you would even realise this is a very good restaurant as it just looks like a well kept pub but once inside it's another story. Highly recommended.
