“Little gem.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2013

Me and my husband had just moved to the Cirencester area, and we found this little gem of a cafe inside the local bric a brac shop. We were spoilt for choice! I finally decided on cheesy chilli nachos from the specials board and my husband choose a beef casserole from the menu. We were both very pleased with our meals and cleared our plates. We then took home some chocolate fudge cake. The staff were wonderful. And we were served pretty quickly. We were greeted with a smile and also had a chat with the friendly waitress. We would defffinatly recommend this little gem to anyone and we will definitely come back!

“Brilliant!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013

Found this little gem of a cafe, during a shopping trip to Cirencester. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and shown to a table.
The menu was excellent, I chose lamb casserole, which was served in a hollow loaf. Was delightful and very filling. My friend had the cauliflower tartlet from the specials menu. She too cleared her plate.
Excellent value for money. The cakes were tempting. But we were too full.
the staff were friendly and very helpful. They even cater for the little ones with thier 'kiddies' corner.
Overall a very traditional tearoom. What an experience. We shall return when next in the area.

“roast dinner”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2013

Just need to advise DO NOT HAVE A ROAST DINNER HERE, we had one today it was vile cold , the veg was horrid like mush, the beef was processed rubbish which looked like it had been fried on each side to heat it , it looked like plastic kebab meat, i couldnt eat mine if you are going to advertise a roast on a sunday then make it a roast my bf ate his, i advised him not to , he eats anything but agrees with me total waste of money. it was being run by teenagers who couldnt even crack a smile let alone a sentence.

“A bit sad looking”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

Most importantly, the food we had here was cheap and delicious.
However, the decor is in need of updating and the waitress needs to learn how to smile.
