Roast Beef Sunday lunch with roast potatoes, yorkshire, broccoli and cauliflower. All very tasty with extra gravy and a pint of Doom Bar.
Lunch was £12.95 so an absolute bargain in my view. Nothing fancy just a good pub lunch.

Great pub, best time to go Saturday lunchtime but do book! We go in with three tables and pre-book a table, the food is always fab, there are always water bowls for the dogs, great staff who are always friendly.

The food has always been good, and has recently improved further. So much so that The Crown is a regular visit.
Afternoon visits for a late lunch it has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. A good variety if choices too. Wiltshire Gold, Hoperation and Doombar are the ales offered.
Food served noon to 9pm.
The pork T bone on creamy mash, thyme and onion stuffing, with mustard cream sauce. Really very nice.

As the title says, a bland boring pub devoid of atmosphere.

The pint of Doom Bar my partner ordered didn't have a head on it (as is the Southern way?!).

Staff were ok, but didnt seem interested in being friendly to tourists, were only interested in the locals.

Came in for lunch.
Many empty tables had reserved signs on them so sat at one with our drinks and headed off once finished.
No one offered food/menus.
Staff lacking warmth
Just wanted to have my beer and go.
Why hire people who don’t want to be there?
