We decided to eat from the early dinner menu which was great value for money. There was a variety of choice and the food was very tasty and well presented. The portions are just right so you are not left feeling uncomfortably full. The service was prompt and very friendly. The restaurant is small but cosy. We dined here midweek and there were other diners. I would recommend booking. We would definatley dine here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely meal. Thanks!

Kevin Harris is a very talented Chef.
Probably one of the best in the country.
A meal here that won't cost the earth but delivers flavours and textures that are sublime.

Yet again another fabulous evening was had at this wonderful French Restaurant. My husband booked the restaurant for our anniversary and we rang earlier in the day to ensure they were open due to the snow and to request a specific table for 2. On arrival the table was marked Reserved and we were welcomed by Claire with a big smile and 'lovely to see you again'. The chicken liver parfait was superb as was the gravadlax, for main course I had plaice and my husband had the bourgignon - again fabulous. The wine choice and value can't be faulted. We had room for desserts so I had the sticky toffee pudding and when it arrive they had piped in chocolate 'Happy Anniversary' around the edge of the plate - a lovely touch and the pudding was light and very tasty. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Cheltenham - lunchtime or for an evening out. It is mainly family run and they really care that you have a great time.

Went to Armagnac with friends for a per Christmas dinner. Had a great evening, menu is fairly limited and not too imaginative. However, Armagnac aims to replicate the feel of a good local French brasserie and the food does the trick. Restaurant is quite small so can get noisy, but I like that. Very reasonable prices also.

We have been meaning to visit this restaurant for a while and luckily had some time inbetween Christmas and New Year.

We hadn't reserved a table, but were welcomed in and sat by the window. We ordered a selection of bread followed by roasted cod on crushed peas and potatoes. Beautifully presented and very tasty. For desert I had Christmas pudding creme brule which had a lovely subtle cinamon flavour and my husband had bread and butter pudding. The portions weren't huge, but perfectly enough for a lovely delicious lunch. It was quiet when we first arrived, but it soon filled up - I can see this is a popular place to bring friends and family. The prices were extremely good too.

We will definitely be returning to this delightful restaurant - bit of a hidden gem!
