Staying at the Premier Inn in Cheltenham we decided with some trepidation, having read the reviews on here, to have dinner at TGIFridays. Expectations weren't high but we were very pleasantly surprised. We had two different starters and shared. The potato skins were good & the mushrooms were absolutely delicious. We both had the rib eye steak and although the beef was good quality our only slight criticism was that they were cooked medium, rather than the medium-rare we asked for. The chips were good & the salad with blue cheese dressing very tasty. We shared an excellent pudding.
Service was good but the kitchen a bit slow and drinks just a little slow. The waiter kept us informed, so no issue.
All in all we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal and evening and wish to redress the balance of comments.
Maybe they need to be more consistent.
