“Great place for a night out”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

We visited this restaurant earlier in the year and were most impressed by the interior.

It appears to be a conversion of an old cinema, with most of the art deco features being kept. A very special place.

There is lounge seating and a bar on the balcony overlooking the main dining area.

The stage area on the ground floor with provides live jazz weekly.

The food was excellent, with the service being most efficient and attentive.

It's not always possible to have excellent food and service in a remarkable dining room, so we will be returning whenever possible.

“Amazing atmosphere! Fantastic food!”
Reviewed January 18, 2013 via mobile

I took my wife here for a romantic birthday meal, the minute you step through the door you cannot be impressed by the architecture within. The converted cinema has perfect acoustics for dinning especially when there's a jazz band playing as you eat! We were lucky to book on a day where live jazz was on the menu. The menu is reasonably priced considering its a la carte quality.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

“Great staff party”
Reviewed January 14, 2013 via mobile

Held our late Xmas/new year party here this lunchtime - food excellent, and we had a fair variety just to keep the kitchen on their toes! Perfect presentation, reasonable portions (for lunch) and friendly, professional service. Great time had by all. Loved it! Ps: my staff picked up a few tips on proper service too - we're from a pub in the area - so good value too!

whether we go on a tuesday evending for an early supper or a major blow out with friends it never lets us down, the champagne start to evenings is great value but gets you into the mood for the night , the steak here is to die for and the chees and biscuits are a fabulous end, never ever fails to give the best of service

“Very good choice for a special night out”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

We were met at the door and led upstairs for pre-drinks. Good cocktails. When everyone had arrived, our party of 12 taken to our table and we proceeded to have a really good evening of very good food and wine.
We decided to stay for drinks at the upstairs bar after the meal but they were not really comfortable with this and happy to see us go I think.
