I consider myself a foodie, so know good food when I see it and eat it. This little gem has been in Cheltenham on my doorstep for years and last night I sampled it. I have eaten in some of the best restaurants in London, Las Vegas and New York and this is the best by far. I cannot eat wheat, gluten or dairy and called ahead to warn them. Usually it's lip service and when I arrive at a restaurant they are less obliging. But even being a small establishment they were so accommodating it almost made me cry. Each dish they specially created for me without disruption to my fellow guests. The service is warm and unpretentious. The setting calm and relaxed. But the food is full on first class. Every bite made us smile and share with each other. Delicious. Really honestly delicious. The parsnip milk and cookies a unique dish. The sweets on a stick with the coffee a revelation. I cannot, cannot recommend this place enough. It's not cheap, but it really is worth it.
