The Wyastone is a small hotel just a short walk from the boutique shops, restaurants and bars. Attention is paid to every detail for the guests. There is parking, use of a swimming pool, fully cooked breakfast, a very nice sitting room with magazines, newspapers, novels and tourist reading material and games. There is also a beautifully landscaped interior courtyard. Impeccably clean rooms with courteous staff. The new owner does a wonderful job of making one's stay enjoyable.

Room Tip: Look on the website for your choice of rooms. #4 has a good view overlooking the courtyard.

Great comments, thank you so much for your review. Our guests are very lucky to have full use of Cheltenham Ladie's College wonderful swimming pool, gym and classes- it is only a short walk down the road. For those wanting to relax and be less active then you are right, our residents' lounge is perfect to cozy up with a book or magazine. The courtyard comes into its own in the summer- perfect for a Pimms! We loved having you stay with us at the Wyastone and hope to see you in 2013.

We stayed at the Wyastone Hotel for one night with friends. We had a suite in the court yard, which is an added touch to the Hotel as has out side space to relax in.
We had arrived early and the lady was pleasant enough to have our room ready for us to use straight away. We later found out that this polite friendly lady 'Lydia Thwaites' is the new owner of the Wyastone Hotel. The Suites were lovely very clean and tidy with every thing you could need, TV, tea and coffee facilities extra pillows and iron and ironing board. The Breakfast was very nice with choice of cooked breakfast and selection of cereal and yoghurt's for self service.
In all the Hotel was very clean welcoming and friendly service.
Only comment I would make is that the Suites were cold to start, if heating was placed on evening before guests arrive to give the Suites a warm welcome.
I would recommend this Hotel as it is only 5min walk in to Cheltenham town centre and 2min walk to bar's, café's and restaurants.

Just got back from a fabulous stay in the Wyastone. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We had the best nights sleep for a long time. The Wyastone is in great location close to the shops. I managed to get all my Christmas shopping done. The breakfast was perfect and set us up well for the day. Host were very friendly and helpful, and we were surprised to hear that they had only just taken it over. What a brilliant job they have done in such a short time. We will definitely return, when visiting the Cotswolds. Thank you for our fabulous, we felt truly pampered.

Room Tip: Book early as this hotel is unsurprisingly in great demand.

We were so pleased to hear that you had a lovely stay with us and that you found the rooms spotlessly clean- our housekeepers do a great job! Great to hear you managed to get all your Christmas shopping done whilst you were here- Cheltenham certainly has a huge selection of shops and the local Montpellier district has some wonderful individual and boutique shops too. We hope to see you next month for the January sales shopping!

We stayed for one night in the Courtyard suite, with friends in the adjoining suites. Looking at the latest couple of reviews it's worth pointing out that the hotel is now under new management, with the new owner being a very pleasant young woman who checked us in. The hotel is very well appointed and the suites are lovely. Clean and tidy with flat screen tv and iPod docking etc. Breakfast was very nice and in general it's a charming place to stay. In due course I believe the new owner will add her own touches and the only comments I'd make is that the bar closed at 10.30pm and if i'm being ultra fussy certain parts of the suite (mirror in bathroom) could do with a dusting!! We'd certainly recommend.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and we are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. The Court Yard Suites are, as you found, ideal for family and friends' reunions. we are looking at extending the opening times of the bar but we are more than happy to leave a night cap in your room following a night out.
