Cleeve Hill is the highest point of the Cotswolds,in the county of Gloucestershire, It is located on Cleeve Common which is a Site of  Interest  for its geology, habitats and botany.

It is a haven for plants, insects, reptiles, birds and mammals.
My family and I walked on Cleeve Common along a circular path of 3.6 km enjoying a stunning panorama all around.

Great place to go for a walk, walking the dogs, flying kites, playing football picnics etc.
Even though it can be busy it's so big you don't feel overcrowded.

Not really into walking but my husband wanted to go and I must say thoroughly enjoyed it. Brushed off the cobwebs from my walking sticks and pleased I took them. Slightly hilly but when you get to the top you have a fantastic view of Cheltenham and the racecourse and right over to the Malverns. It was a shame it was a bit misty. Head for the Golf Course but don't park at the Club House, drive straight passed and you will see the free public car park. You can eat and drink at the Club House though. We just had a coffee but the menu looked very good. You walk right through the golf course so watch for stray balls. Great for walking the dog with plenty of poo bins. Enjoy

Extensive and stunning views, fresh air, great walks and easily accessible for all, well worth a visit

Please beware though, once again, as in other beautiful places I’ve visited in the area, thoughtless and selfish dog owners spoil it for everyone else. Pick it up!

We walk daily but on the flat. being 70+ the walks up the hill were challenging and we were very glad we had good boots and poles.
