Jut what we wanted - all with amazing sunny weather in early April...
The very friendly owner Helen only needed the arrival "hello call" as everything was spot on
We sat out admiring the swans on the duck pond - we bbq'd & made good use of the spotless modern kitchen. Highly recommend & hope to return again soon.
And yes - the cake thing is jut a lovely touch! (& was yum)
Great for exploring Cotswolds
Check out the very local Odda's chapel for a walk down the river..

The Dovecote was a beautiful place to stay it has been lovingly converted and has everything you could need for a relaxing time. The pond outside the property was lovely to sit and watch the ducks and Kingfisher that came each afternoon during our stay. The home made cake left for our arrival from Helen was amazing and greatly appreciated by my husband. We couldn't fault anything and would thoroughly recommend to family and friends.
The beautiful Dovecote was a peaceful haven in a delightful spot. All the comforts of home and a much needed retreat from England's busy roads and crowded tourist hotspots. Our family of four (two young adult offspring) from country Australia felt very at home and all rated the cottage very highly. Special mention - bird life on the pond and the delicious home baked cake.

We arrived at the Dovecot and instantly knew we had made a good choice. We had a yummy homemade cake waiting for us, which was such a lovely touch. Set in beautiful grounds, the House looks over a lovely Pond. Lovely relaxing location, clean, warm and cosy cottage. Very comfy beds, all very clean and spacious main bedroom. Lovely log fire with a basket of logs provided. BBQ and outdoor furniture provided..which made meal times great..sitting out, over looking the Pond. We have a three year old and a 5 month old. Our 3 year old really enjoyed her little self..feeding the ducks and exploring her new surroundings. Fenced lake so felt safe. I am fairly fussy when it comes to staying in other peoples Houses, I do like fine things..and this really exceeded my expectations. The only down point for me personally where the Pigeon holes, that are used for decoration in the bedrooms and bathroom. I am not keen on Spiders and there certainly are alot of these..which is what you would expect om the Countryside and by a Pond..however I felt the Pigeom holes over our bed were a little unpleasent as they have lots of spiders living in. I slept with head at the opposite side as could not settle. Maybe i am a softie!! If ur looking for a chilled retreat though then this is ur place!!
