“Welcoming, good food and good service”
Reviewed November 24, 2012

We went to the Pirandello on a quiet Thursday evening, the restaurant was about half full with mainly small groups, one of which included some Italian customers who were clearly enjoying the food..
The meals took some time to be served - which I think is a good thing - because when they arrived they were perfectly cooked, piping hot and delicious. The menu covers most tastes and includes a variety of pasta fish and meat dishes.
The service was very pleasant and the staff chatted to customers in a friendly way.

“Italian food as it should be”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

We came across this restaurant, after walking out of the Joules restaurant ( see my review) , we were met by friendly staff in a warm and cosy restaurant, the quality of all the food we ordered was first class, prepared by a chef who cared about quality and taste, The service was excellent, nothing was to much trouble. We came away with our faith restored and our stomachs full, we would certainly return on another visit to Cheltenham.

“Lovely little place”
Reviewed September 30, 2012 via mobile

I'd often walked past this restaurant but knew very little about it, so decided to drop by one time with some friends.
We were met by a very nice waitress, who seemed more than happy to accommodate us, despite us showing up unexpectedly on a Saturday night and the place being pretty full.
The staff were very attentive and the wine and food were great. Particular favourite was my main, which was the most delicious ravioli I've ever eaten - it was stuffed with lobster and came in a delicious creamy sauce. My only criticism was that there just wasn't enough, and I left feeling slightly peckish. All in all though, a great evening and it definitely rates as one of Cheltenham's best Italian restaurants.

“Great service, great food, great value!”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

My first visit to Pirandello after hearing great reviews from friends and family. A small family run restaurant with lovely decor and cosy atmosphere.
Greeted by staff on arrival and immediately felt at home.
Pirandello offer a pre-theatre menu, ideal for those wanting to catch an early bite to eat before watching a show.
Staff were very friendly and very helpful with suggestions from the menu. Service was prompt, food was served hot and full of flavour.
I will be definitely be going back......soon!
