If you are reading this to find out about Koloshi, then just go! You will not be disappointed. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly, and offered exceptional service. The food was authentic and full of beautiful flavours that remain in your mouth long after the meal. This was a wonderful evening and certainly one of the best Indian meals I've ever had the pleasure of eating.

Easily some of the best Indian food I've ever had! Really friendly, well presented staff. Lovely old building that has been transformed inside to a smart restaurant. They gave us free drinks while we waited for our taxi home too! Very highly recommended.

Really good Indian, excellent service. Worth the drive from Cheltenham. More expensive than most but worth the extra.

When we visited India a few years back, we concluded that a top-notch Indian restaurant in the UK could match most of the meals we had over there, and our recent trip to Koloshi was a great example of this.

The service was attentive, the surroundings gave the sort of vibe we remembered from the subcontinent, but the highlight was the food.

For starters we chose the marinated cotswold lamb cutlets, and tikka duck. Both were tender and perfectly cooked, and the complex taste from the marinade on the lamb was exceptional.

For mains, my wife chose 'Sabzi Wali Kofta', a curry of minced vegetable dumplings and morel mushrooms that reminded her of a dish she had in Jaipur on our hoiiday. I plumped for the king prawn biryani, which was fantastically authentic - flavoured with saffron and subtle spices and sealed in its pot with melt-in-the-mouth sweet pastry.

The chef at Koloshi is obviously at the top of his trade - this was one of the best indian meals I've had in years and I'm a bit of an addict. it's well worth the short drive out of Cheltenham and at least comparable with any indian you'd get in town, if not better.

Another great meal here........this time Sunday lunch for 10, including two children. Excellent service, good selection of food - all at a reasonable price! This was the Sunday special lunch, ideal for a family consisting of 8 adults [including two aged 80+] and two under 14s. A starter selection followed by an assortment of meat dishes, rice, vegetables and assorted naan breads, all delicious. Highly recommended.
