“Excellent value for money”

With the free salad bar we found this place excellent value for money and although a bit crowded it was a lovely place to eat.

“Cold food, bad service!”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

I don't expect anything too great when I eat at a Harvester however this weekend's visit was quite bad.

We went for brunch/breakfast; the waitress who took our order didn't know any of the menu items - it was like she'd never set foot in there before, and she kept saying 'I've never worked a breakfast shift before". She had to come back several times to ask questions about our order so our food took ages to arrive - over half an hour.

The food tasted very average and was quite barely warm.

Overall = eat somewhere else in the Brewery!

“Gross”
Reviewed November 23, 2012

The food here is disgusting, might as well go and buy a readymeal. At least the place is clean but the staff clearly don't give a damn about customers.

“Grey, greasy & gross”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

STAY AWAY! Just got back from our trip to harvester we needed somewhere quick to eat before the cinema! We chose harvester as it was the only restaurant we hadn't been too! One word horrific, we walked in met by a waitress who clearly hated her job she asked how many people we said three she then walked off with not so much as a follow me! We were handed menus and the waitress walked off 10 minutes later she came back for the drinks order we ordered food at the same time to try and speed up the process 25 minutes after ordering drinks still had not turned up even though our waitress walked past at least 8 times and on 5 occasions looked at our table. When the food arrived she asked if she could get us anything else we asked for our drinks and she apologised. My food was tepid at best which does not fill you with confidence when it's chicken! The sauce was wrong the chicken was grey & greasy the ribs were rubbery and grisly. The corn on the cob was absolutely vile overcooked to the point of it just tasting like water. The kids meal we ordered was disgusting super dark sausages dried out mashed potato and another corn on the cob. The mash tasted like smash and was dried to the point where it was crispy on top. We paid left and vowed to never come back! The only thing this place has going for it is the price but I'd rather pay that bit more and go to ruby Tuesday over the way!
