I was at Cheltenham in the 70's to train as a teacher. I always loved this area and still enjoy a weekend here with my friends. We love the little individual shops. There is a shoe shop that has great sales and someone always buys at least one pair. Some nice boutiques and gift shops. You could easily spend the morning or afternoon here. Plenty of nice coffee shops and small cafes too with parking nearby.

Great collection of trendy pavement restaurants/bars for sundowners and meals, along with beautiful boutique shops. Easy walk from House of Fraser shops on Promenade.

We walked up and down this area several times window shopping and bar hopping mostly very nice in the sunshine and its very relaxed and quiet even in the middle of the day, good to sit outside with a coffee (or beer) and people watch for hours on end!

Wandered round this area after lunch and it was very pleasant. A nice selection of shops, antique shops, art galleries, upmarket ladies fashion ( dont miss Blue, a wonderful shop in which to do serious retail damage!), wine shops etc
Very easy to spend a few hours here, no bother!
