The theatre is very quant but very little knee room in all the seats if you over 5'8", but a great view of the stage wherever you sit.

“Lovely old theatre”
Reviewed January 24, 2014

Saw the pantomime at the theatre, it was really well done. We are not locals and had been concerned about parking for the theatre as one of us is disabled, but we were able to park easily in the multi storey car park, which has an access to the theatre.

“Afternoon entertainment”
Reviewed January 23, 2014

Modern, clean theatre. Lovely interior, not too big and all seats are close enough to the stage. We were second from the back in the circle and it was a great viewpoint.
Would definitely visit again.

“Modern, comfortable, and good value for money”
Reviewed December 27, 2013

Its at times like this that I love living in Cheltenham.

This theatre is modern, but is designed in a classical style. The seats are comfy with plenty of legroom, and its a very nice size where it feels big like a proper theatre but is not so big that some seats are too far from the stage. I think you could sit anywhere in this theatre and have a perfectly good view. This all compares very favourably to most west end theatres I have been too where the legroom is horribly tight or views are distant and obstructed.

Parking is dead easy, just make sure you know how to get to it in advance using google maps. You can walk right into the theatre from the parking lot. Parking was empty for the evening show, maybe it would be busy for a daytime performance day on a busy shopping day. Its one of those 'never ending spiral' parking lots which make me dizzy, if it bothers you there is rodney road parking just a 1 min walk away.

We went to see Aladdin which was excellent especially Tweedy. They even sung Defying Gravity from Wicked! which was a nice bonus and well delivered.

Overall visiting this theatre was like going to a west end show, but without the expense or inconvenience. I will be going back more often!
