Very friendly atmosphere, great place to be.
Took my Grandchildren to see the Christmas show Aladdin, great fun.

This is a lovely theatre. Friendly and well looked after. Aladdin was the show. It was very typical slapstick humour but very well delivered, very funny and certainly worth going to see. A lot of fun.

Well maintained venue, great variety of productions. Staff care, easy central location in Cheltenham. Bar gets a bit crowded, but so what. Drinks well priced, food a tad expensive.

We've been regular visitors to this theatre for several years.
The "major refurbishment" promised many changes - it produced a carpet for stairs and waiting areas that gives one a headache (whoever chose it!?) and the seats still provide the same wholly inadequate legroom in Upper Circle ("uncomfortable" doesn't come near it). There's nowhere for winter coats and hats to hang and anyone over 5 feet tall in the seat in front in the Upper Circle obscures any view. The last few times we have been there has been no warning about mobile phones (2 went off last time) and the noise of many sweet-wrappers is distracting. To understand the pricing structure needs a degree.
We'll continue to go because the productions are usually first class but theatres like The Cheltenham Playhouse and The Roses in Tewkesbury are a joy to visit. They are clean, caring and comfortable.

Everyman Theatre sent an E mail stating Michael Mcintyre one night show, Online and Telephone bookings from Mid-day 04/11/2013. What a nightmare, online booking crashed straight away and No telephones were answered, 45 minutes trying to get through, then 1 hour after that, they put on website that they are sold out. Sorry Everyman but you got this So Wrong.
They seem to forget loyalty of those who support them every month, what a let down.
