We were in cheltenham for a few days and looking for a quality turkish experience.
Having found the Grille and stepped in initially the decor and tables made us feel a little uneasy but having eaten in some real dodgy looking places in the backstreets of turkey we sat down.
The owner Namik came over and we had a chat and ordered food which was delivered to the table quickly and with piping hot fresh flat bread all fantastically tasty.
When Namik returned with our main courses he was genuinely interested in how we found the food and left us to enjoy our dinners. After the dessert he came over again and we had an interesting chat about the food and some turkish history.
We paid our very reasonable bill of less than 50 for three courses each and beers.
On the whole a very authentic turkish dining experience in a slightly less than smart area of town but if its good home cooked food you are after look no further.
