Nice friendly welcome, asked to sit a table of 4 although there was only 2 of us was not a problem as when we arrived there were plenty of tables free....but it soon filled up! Nice menu selection available- We chose Meze.
To be honest we've had better Turkish Meze elsewhere with more dishes for the money.......However we were asked if we had a discount card, we replied no, the waited asked the same question to other tables. When we received the Bill we were talking to the manager.....and he offered us a 10% discount!! without any prompting!! He said that they had just increased the Menu price because of rising prices.....which is maybe true, but everyone were enjoying a discount either 10% of your bill or a free bottle of wine when you reserve a table of 4 or more!!
Food was very tasty, especially the homemade Pitta.....and the sweets and Coffee were excellent.

As a recent graduate you can imagine the majority of my experience with 'Turkish' food was fast food kebab & chips places.
This has completely changed my opinion.

Here you can get wealth of different foods, or even go for the comfortingly familiar kebabs - which in no way resemble the greasy ones I had hitherto known.
Turkish pizza is amazingly good (the bread is so nice), their rice is almost buttery in taste, the flat breads were tasty on their own but were especially tasty dunked in hot hummus, we also tried minted lamb sealed inside fried pastry (we had everything together so that starters were more sides) which was both understandably familiar, but different with the fried pastry.
Hell, even the tomatoes in the side salad were gorgeous!
£25 covered two main courses, two starters, two flat breads and a yoghurt drink which absolutely stuffed both of us. Would fully recommend (am fully recommending?) and plan to return soon. Such a delight.

A family of Turks wait and run the restaurant and help to make this place the hidden gem it is.

I would also recommend the Aryan, a yoghurt drink; not only does it taste great but it allows you to eat your next mouthful without the tastes of the last one interfering.

Available for takeaway and they take reservations (finding their number on the iPad can be difficult as it comes up as white text on a white page: 01242 771444 by the way)

If you are looking for quality Turkish food at reasonable prices, you cannot go wrong here.
From the minute you enter the door, the welcome is warm and friendly, the menu is very comprehensive to suit all tastes. 4 starters, 4 main courses, 4 coffees 4 very very satisfied customers. the waiter is superb, very knowledgeable, very obliging, and at under £70.00 for the 4 of us unbeatable value. Would highly recommend a visit to this restuarant.
