I have seen this church develop over the years from a church hall with a screen to what is surely now a heritage gem. The full set of Tom Denny windows was a real scoop and this was topped up a couple of years ago or so with further lovely white etched windows near the porch. It has its own bell-tower, with the smallest peal of bells in England. It is nearly always open often someone to give you a welcome. Well worth a visit.
We visited various cathedrals last weekend in the three counties but this little church is astonishing in that it has no less than 10 stained glass windows by the renowned stained glass artist Tom Denny. They are really worth a visit and in a slightly different style to his later work, depicting various parables from the New Testament . Lovely welcoming people-a real treat!
