Cosy pub with great ambience, particularly on a blustery autumnal evening. Log fire, the smell of woodsmoke, stone floors, nooks and crannies, a well stocked bar and a mouthwatering menu. The food is a little overpriced ...don't mind paying over the odds if the quality is worth it. (The roast potatoes had that pre-cooked flavour) The service is exceptional! Couldn't ask for a more friendly, attentive service which made up for our slight dissapointment with our meal.
