I can only reiterate the positive comments of previous reviews. In addition Michael could not have been more helpful, efficient and professional from start to finish. He answered all our queries pre-visit, arranged to post an item left in the house back to its owner and responded immediately and positively to a couple of our suggestions after our stay. No hesitation in recommending the venue to anybody.
Nethercote House is wonderful, spacious, well appointed house. We were a family of eight adults and six children and could not have been happier. The secure garden was appreciated. The accommodation was on different levels, immaculately clean and quite superbly supplied with all that you might require. Michael Curtis, the owner was extremely efficient, helpful and a delight to deal with him. I have no hesitation in recommending Michael and Nethercote House!
I booked Nethercote house for four nights because my sister was getting married at Cornwell Manor nearby. The house is absolutely lovely and there was plenty of space for us all. The children really enjoyed the table tennis table and table football and playing football over the road in the field nearby. The owner could not have been more accommodating and also understanding when one of my sons managed to break a bed. We also found a lovely basket of goodies on arrival which was really appreciated by everyone. I would love to return again one day as the house is beautiful and in a lovely setting although I think I may leave the children behind.
We stayed for four nights at Nethercote house as part of my mothers birthday celebrations. Our party also included my family and my brothers family (5 adults and 4 children in total). We could not have had a better stay. Nethercote house is spacious, with open plan dining and kitchen areas, comfy living rooms and spacious bedrooms. The enclosed garden was great for the kids to run around and play ball, and we very much enjoyed the garage with its table tennis. Its only a short walk (5 mins) into Bourton itself, which has a great selection of shops, cafes and pubs. Bourton is also a good place for exploring other areas of the Cotswolds, so we also went to Stow on the Wold, Broadway (visited a cracking pub called the Swan there), and the Cotswold Safari Park (which was a massive hit with the kids). All in all a great stay, would definitely recommend for families or groups of friends, and I am sure we will be going back in the future.
The house is amazing, the bedrooms comfortable and spacious. The kitchen diner is well equipped and great for a family get together. The communication with the owner is friendly and prompt. A lovely hamper of food and drink was there on our arrival. The town has loads of things to do. Perfect for a family meet up. Everyone had a fantastic time.
