We have recently spent 5 nights at Holly House which we found through TA. The reviews were correct, it is a spotlessly clean B&B, very comfortable and Jayne is very friendly and we were well looked after. We were in the Notgrove Suite which has a small lounge with a television, tea making facilities and a small fridge. The bed was very comfortable, we both slept very well and breakfast was cooked to perfection by David. The B&B is a short walk from the centre of Bourton on the water, where there are good restaurants, we enjoyed The Croft and Rose Tree Restaurant. We hope to visit again in the Spring.

My friend and I found Holly House on the internet and after reading some of the reviews decided to stay 3 nights. I know Bourton a little as my brother used to live there and knew it was a very picturesque village. We booked the Notgrove Suite as it gave us a bit of living space between our walking during the day and our bimble down to the village for an evening meal. The suite was excellent, very clean and comfortable and the beds ensured I slept 8 full hours every night. Jayne & David are extremely good hosts and make you feel very welcome. When you walk in the house it has a feeling of space, warmth and friendliness which is great for an English B&B. I'm really glad we chose to stay there and would recommend it.

Room Tip: The Notgrove Suite is on the back of the house, very quiet. We did have a look at the other rooms...

We decided to stay at Holly House after reading great reviews on TA.We were not disappointed..
Jayne and David are great hosts, very friendly and welcoming. On arrival we we met by Alan (David's father) who gave us tips on where to eat and helped take our bags to the room.We stayed in two different rooms as we booked quite late and they didn't have a king-size room for four straight nights. WE stayed in Windrush and Sherbourne. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable and our bags were transfered between rooms for us allowing us to go out for day.the The breakfast is delicious, fresh and a great selection (David does perfect poached eggs !)Holly house is in a great location as it is situated in the pretty vilage of Bourton. Nearby Burford, Stow on the Wold and Moreton in the Marsh are definitely worth a visit .Don't miss the great little fish and chip shop in Moreton. I live in a seaside town but Moreton fish and chips take some beating, worth standing in the queue for! All in all a great four day break. Wish we could have stayed longer.Would love to return again . Carol and Dave. Folkestone.

We stayed at Holy House for three nights. Our room was spacious, offered every comfort and was spotlessly clean. The conservatory/breakfast room was very tastefully furnished and provided a relaxing start to the day. A wide breakfast choice was offered on the menu and the cooked breakfast was served very hot and we give 10/10 for presentation. We would not hesitate to make a return visit.

Stayed at Holly House for 2 nights - 26/27th October 2012. As a youngish couple we had booked this trip to get away during half term but the trip was made extra special in that we became engaged 2 days before so it became a celebratory weekend. We were made to feel extremely welcome by Jayne, who showed us up to our room. On arriving they had a box of sweets and engagement card waiting for us. The room itself (the Windrush) was very spacious and beautifully presented. The en suite was also very spacious, only negative for the whole stay for us was the shower in the bath had to be held manually, but this is us been picky. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of choice from full English to kippers on toast to cereals and fruit, I even commented it was the best fried egg I ever had and still stand by that comment!! Location wise Holly House is just a 5 min walk from the wonderful Bourton and also is just a short drive to Stow. Would highly recommend staying here and will be returning for sure. Thanks Jayne and David for a lovely weekend to celebrate our engagement.

Room Tip: have a fried egg in the morning!! We ate at the Croft and the Rose Tree and would highly recommend b...

We have recently stayed at this wonderful B&B. Jayne and David clearly care that their guests have a great experience at Holly House, and they are the most attentive of hosts. We were met on arrival by Jayne who promptly made us a pot of tea with home made cakes, and we sat in the sumptuous surroundings of the guest area which is beautifully presented. Our room was the Notgrove Suite which was spacious and spotlessly clean. It had a comfortable lounge area which contained a flat screen television and a fridge. The bedroom was beautiful, and the super king sized bed was wonderful. The bathroom was modern and smart, with an extra large shower area. The loo was separate. We breakfasted each morning in the lovely conservatory, and the food and service were second to none. Holly House has everything going for it, including the fact that it is just a mere stroll from the picturesque centre of Bourton-on-the-Water. This really is a wonderful place to stay, and we have no hesitation in recommending it. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Room Tip: The Notgrove suite is at the back of the property, overlooking the garden. It has a modern bathroom...

I cant say enough about this B&B! Our stay in Bourton on Water was wonderful because our host Jane was so helpful and kind. Our welcome was warm with tea, coffee and sweets. Our suite was huge, spacious and clean in every aspect. The bedroom and bathroom sparkled with care and cleanliness with obvious attention and care to every detail. The breakfast was served with elegance and care each morning (2night stay). The food was delicious, hot and plentiful++. Our impression of Jane and David is that nothing was too much of a request for them. We stayed there in Sept. 23-25 when we were on a 3 week trip through 4 European countries. Our stay with them was a definite highlight! Thank you Jane!!!!! Your excellence in serving others is noted.

Room Tip: We think it was the Windrush room. It was at the top of the stairs and faced the road. Very quiet...
