We stayed here for three nights beginning 1st September. Rooms were very small though clean and fairly well presented and in keeping with the age of the building. Beds were incredibly soft though I personally found it really difficult to sleep due to the rooms being very warm.....duvet way too heavy for the time of year.
Plenty of hot water however shower head not adjustable which made washing your hair compulsory.....fine for me however bit of a nuisance for my wife.
The breakfasts were OK though nothing to write home about.
We ordered food in the restaurant on the first evening and while it was fairly typical pub food, portions were generous and well cooked.
Decor and carpets in the bar and restaurant area could use updating however staff were friendly and efficient.
Overall pretty decent. Not sparkling however certainly not the worst place we've stayed in

Stayed for 4 nights, food very good and staff good. Breakfast very nice. We had room 1 which over looked car park and the stream, had window open all night and all very quite. Would go back again :) Love the area all very helpfully and friendly, nice little village.

We stayed overnight, room was small but with keeping of the building. Had everything we needed. Staff were really friendly and helpful was even shown to our room and although we arrived early a car park space was arranged. We had the all inclusive which was dinner and breakfast which was good value for money and the quality of food was very good. Would definitely recommend.

We got here early but neednt'd have worried as managed to get a table ok. Staff very helpful and friendly with good and very prompt service. This is not a gastro pub but prices very reasonable for a tourist place. My husband thought there was a good selection of Ale. Pub decor tired and could do with some tlc. Good evening and we would return if up that way again.

We visited the pub mid week for lunch and were very impressed by the friendly staff, prompt service when ordering drinks and food and the more than reasonable prices. So many pubs get it wrong with inadequate staffing, poor service and quality of food and drinks etc. so it is nice to go in one where they have actually got it right in more ways than one!

We sat at a table on the riverside terrace and had a pleasant lunch in the sunshine with a young toddler who was kept busy (and quiet!) most of the time.

There are five cask ales on and I had a tasting platter of three, all of which were well kept. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Location is ideal - right in the centre of the village and a small car park at the rear.

This pub is just off the main road and it is not obvious that it is at the side of the river so the places looking on to the river tend to get very busy 1st. This pub is large inside and has a beer garden at the rear that is at the side of the river, best of both worlds. Good service, food and drink with parking if you need it. Enjoyed our visit and would go back.

This Pub with rooms was Bang on......Rooms were functional, but the service, hospitality was great, all very friendly staff and enough food on you plate to satisfy even the biggest appetite. Breakfast was 1st class and set us up for the walks we had planned during our stay. We would recommend this venue for a base to enjoy the Cotswolds
