Owner description: Located in the picturesque village of Bourton on the Water, the Cotswold Motoring Museum is a fascinating journey through the 20th century that the whole family can enjoy. The Museum is bulging with great cars, quaint caravans, precarious looking motorcycles, enamel signs and an intriguing collection of motoring curiosities! Brum, the BBC TV's little super hero car whose adventures start and end at the museum can be found here every day.

When I saw the entrance price I was a bit hesitant but it was brilliant. Even if you are not a car expert there is so much of interest there for adults and children alike. It is run by the CSMA it is close to other attractions in Bourton on the Water. It is well laid out and signs explain dates and origins of the displays. There is a toy display and a gift shop. Staff are extremely friendly and if you want more detail or history of the museum they are happy to explain it to you. All under cover so even good in bad weather.

Cute place with lots of cool stuff. After the car section, there was a small section for vintage camera, too. Great place to hang out if it's not nice out. We had awesome weather but still decided to go; it was fun!

This was absolutely amazing - what a trip down memeory lane! Although it is a motoring museum, it really goes beyond that with so many exhibits of all sorts to match the cars of the time. The volunteers who have put this museum together really are to be commended on the hard work and meticulous attention to detail that they have made. I can highly recommend a visit as I thoroughly enjoyed it - although it did make me feel very old to se eone of the first cars I drove now being a museum piece!

Brilliant, just the sort of place I could spend hours in. The collections include all sorts from cars to memorabilia, the last was particularly fascinating.

Great place for kids and adults. Loads of cars and vans etc. Kids can even do a fun quiz to look out for things as you go round. remember to take a pencil with you. The highlight of the exhibition is BRUM of course, the little yellow car from the childrens adventures on TV back in the80's/ 90's?!! Worth the money and your child gets a certificate to say they completed the quiz. Now that's something.
